Monday, September 7

A softer landing.

I walked into the new job carrying more nerves than I wanted to admit. New faces, a different rhythm, that feeling of starting from scratch.

Then the team saved me a seat at lunch. A small invitation, but it changed the shape of the day.

Does Vera really call my phone?

Yes. Vera places a real phone call to the number on your account. Choose a recurring call schedule, start a call from the app, or ask Vera by text to call you. You can manage your call and SMS schedules in the app.

What do we talk about?

Whatever you want to make room for. Set your own reflection questions, choose habits to check in on, or use suggested questions. Vera’s conversational style can be warm, candid, practical, or shaped by your own instructions.

Do I have to write anything?

You can simply talk. Vera uses your conversations and saved answers to generate a daily journal at your chosen writing time. It is an AI-written reflection, so it may summarize or interpret what you shared, and it can make mistakes.

Can I control what Vera remembers?

Yes. You can review, edit, or remove saved memories and disable memory extraction and use. The app also provides AI consent controls and permanent account deletion. Voice conversations and messages are processed by cloud services to provide Vera’s features.

Is Vera a therapist?

Vera is an AI companion for journaling and personal reflection. It does not provide therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, or emergency support.

When can I get Vera?

Vera is coming to iPhone. We’re preparing the first App Store release, so it isn’t publicly available yet. Use the early-access link below to email the team and ask about availability.
