Who provides Vera

Vera is provided by Nestor Code Crafters UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Kolonnenstraße 8, 10827 Berlin, Germany, registered at Amtsgericht Charlottenburg under HRB 266329 B. Contact us at contact@nestorcodecrafters.com. Our legal notice contains the full company details.

Vera is an AI companion for personal voice journaling and reflection. You choose questions and preferences, speak with Vera, and receive generated journals, memories, and insights. You must be at least 18 and use an account and telephone number you are authorized to use. Internet access and a supported number that can receive calls and messages are required. Your carrier may charge for calls, messages, data, or roaming under your plan. Availability depends on your App Store region and supported telephone destination.

One monthly membership

One onboarding call is available before purchase. After onboarding, a paid monthly auto-renewable subscription is required to access Vera. There is no subscription free trial and no annual plan at launch.

The German launch price is €29.99 per month. Other storefronts show the localized price and applicable taxes before purchase. Apple’s purchase confirmation shows the price and billing period you accept.

Membership has no weekly or monthly call-frequency allowance. You can schedule calls every day and use Call Vera Now. Individual calls have a technical limit of 23 minutes and depend on network and service availability. This is not a monthly minute quota.

Vera is for personal use. Do not automate repeated calls, use another person’s number without authorization, evade payment, or use the service to harm or harass others.

Payment, renewal, and cancellation

Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation ordinarily stops the next renewal while access continues through the paid period, subject to Apple’s transaction status and any refund.

Use Restore Purchases in Vera if a purchase made with your Apple Account is not recognized. Contact support if access remains unavailable. Restoring a purchase does not restore permanently deleted journal data.

Deleting the app or your Vera account does not cancel your Apple subscription. Account deletion removes access to that account’s data and service features. Cancel the subscription separately if you also want renewal to stop.

To request an Apple purchase refund, use Apple’s refund service. Eligibility follows applicable law and Apple’s purchase terms and process. Nothing here excludes mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or digital-service conformity rights. These terms do not ask you to waive a statutory withdrawal right.

AI and personal reflection

Vera is AI, not a person, clinician, therapist, or emergency service. Its responses and inferred moods can be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on Vera for diagnosis, treatment, crisis monitoring, or urgent assistance. Contact your local emergency service if you need urgent help.

Do not start, stop, or change medication or treatment based on Vera’s responses, or delay seeking professional care because of them.

Share only what is needed for your reflection. Keep medical records, passwords, sign-in codes, financial account or payment-card numbers, government identifiers, and other people’s private information out of conversations. Do not record another person covertly or submit information you have no right to share. These precautions do not change our responsibilities for information we receive.

Before AI processing, Vera asks for your explicit permission and explains how communications and AI providers receive your information. Read the Privacy Policy presented in the app. You can withdraw AI consent in the app; this pauses AI features and does not cancel an Apple subscription or erase saved data.

You retain your rights in content you provide. You permit the processing needed to supply the service you request, subject to your consent, the Privacy Policy, and applicable law. This does not permit us to sell your private journal for advertising. AI-generated material may be similar to other output and may not qualify for exclusive intellectual-property protection.

Support and your legal rights

Contact support about access, billing recognition, privacy, or defects. We may investigate outages, misuse, or security issues. Changes to paid services will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer rights; these terms do not grant unrestricted discretion to remove paid features without notice or remedy.

The app license is governed by Apple’s Standard EULA. These service terms do not replace mandatory legal rights or Apple’s applicable purchase terms. Your agreement or data-processing consent does not waive statutory privacy or consumer rights. Liability is not excluded or limited where applicable law prohibits doing so.
